The OASIS contact centre is designed to support intelligent contact management with easy...

The OASIS platform is well proven in its ability to replace ageing, legacy public-switch-based operator assistance or Toll and Assist services. The Volt Delta OASIS platform provides a modern, feature-rich and cost-effective solution that allows any telco to offer a full range of today’s operator assistance services. As well as fully supporting operator assistance services it also supports emergency services where these are also part of the service mix and, of course, other generic contact centre services all from a single, fully integrated platform.
The OASIS solution for Toll & Assist and Operator Assistance includes support for these services over both traditional SS7 networks as well as over SIP based networks, and Volt Delta has implemented both approaches.
At its core OASIS provides a carrier-grade switching solution with integrated SS7 and SIP support to allow the platform to migrate to a full Next Generation Network architecture. In addition a carrier grade of resilience and redundancy is offered together with the wide feature set required to address all of the traditional operator service needs. For frequently requested services, Volt Delta is also able to propose its OASIS Voice IVR platform to offer automated options in order to reduce operational costs.
OASIS provides complete support for any or all of the services typically offered, including:
- Operator enquiries and call connection assistance
- Directory assistance, with Volt Delta’s 360 product set.
- Emergency services, where required, with OASIS Emergency
- Alarm call booking and delivery (both automated & manual)
- Service interception services
- Trunk offer
- Advice of duration and charge
- Transfer charge
- Special assistance
- Coin box support
- Services for the deaf & hard of hearing, with support for text phones to provide to “relay” operators.
